Merriewold Morgans has purchased a Ranch in Huasna Valley in San Luis Obispo county.  About 40 minutes from our current “Ranchita” location.  It is completely undeveloped so it is going to take a year or more to plan and build.  We are excited to have more room for our horses and to build our dream facility from the ground up. 

     
We intend to develop this property in the most environmentally friendly way.  Our decisions will be based on what is best for the land with minimal waste and minimal impact.  From the design and location of the buildings, the materials and finally the pasture management.  We intend to utilize the most up to date information available while also keeping in mind the wisdom from our agricultural heritage.  We have put together  a team of experts, friends, and neighbors to help us and we would love to share the process and adventure with all our Morgan friends.
