Show season is starting at Merriewold for three of our Mares.  Merriewold Hanah, Flower of Georgia, and Merriewold Galaxie have all gone to schooling shows to get experience and show training.

   

Four year old Hanah is at Dragonfire Farm with Earl and Jennifer Mc Fall.  She competed in a dressage schooling show in Intro and Training Levels.  (see previous post for more info) She will soon go to her first “Eventing” show

Five year old Georgia is in training with Julie Corlett and went to a schooling show in Santa Barbara.  (see previous post) She will go to several additional shows before the  Santa Barbara Morgan Medallion Regional show in August

And five year old Galaxie is our most experienced Show horse.  She competed in three rated events with Sally Anderson in Montana.  Now Galaxie is in California with Jennifer McFall and the two are getting to know each other.  Gal went to the schooling show with Hanah.

All three will meet at the Santa Barbara show along with our two year olds  Merriewold JS Bach and Merriewold Jesse James who are being prepared to show ‘In-hand’.
