  1. Diana,

We were so sad to hear of “Lady’s” passing. We were so proud of having bred such a magnificent and dear mare. She never let us down and lived up to her name in every aspect. We were so grateful that she found a wonderful home at Merriwold and in her retirement with Sally. Bill and I look forward to your tribute that is forthcoming.

    Warm regards,

    Linda and Bill Rohr

  2. So very sorry to hear of your loss. I’ve been meaning to be in touch to tell you that we have Majesty Maid Marion a 1989 full sister. She was purchased from Peggy Alderman by my Dad for his retirement project. He enjoyed many hours of driving till he passed away in 2005. Maddie, as we call her lives with me now. She was never bred. If you’d like I’d be happy to share a picture or two…you’d be stunned at how much like each other they look!

  3. @ Joanne Schoonmaker. I was thrilled to read your comment about Maddie and to find out that she is doing well. I remember when we bred her and when Peggy sold her to your Dad! That was wonderful that he enjoyed driving her for many years. I would love for you to post a picture of her. She had a wonderful disposition and if I recall was more of a light chestnut rather than the liver chestnut like her sister.
