Please visit our new “Green Horse Property” site. We hope to share our experiences and challenges as we build our new horse property in an environmentally sound way. We would like to hear your stories too, and would appreciate any comments and additions to the resource lists.   Our goal is to have this site become a resource to help horse owners and managers make better decisions for the environment.
Our second (and last) 2009 foal was born, Saturday May 9. He is by Rosevale Leggo and out of our mare, Willowist Promise to Keep. According to Sally at Saralin he is BIG, black and and very healthy! Thanks to Sally’s mare ‘Muse” for being a wonderful surrogate Mom. We had a name ready for this foal if it was a colt:

Flower of Georgia ( Caduceus Denver x ABL Morning Star) went to a schooling show in Santa Barbara with trainer Julie Corlett.
Harmony and Kandie arrived in California a few weeks ago and have settled in nicely. Their stories are very different, Kandie is a yearling and Harmony is four, but on the trip out to CA they forged a bond and enjoy being together.
