We are excited to announce that Merriewold Legacy’s photo is on the cover of Connie Squire’s new book, “Shadow: Carlee’s Morgan” . Â This little book is written for the younger reader and is about the important relationship between a girl and her horse.
Shadow: Carlee’s Morgan, can be purchased at Amazon, approximately 100 pages,  about $6 plus shipping.
Jackie and I had a fun day going to visit our three mares in the Santa Ynez area. Â First we went to see Dina and Julie. Â Dina is our 4 year old just started under saddle with Julie Corlett. Â Video coming!
      
Then we went over to Polly Rich, Sport Horse and Breeding Facility to see our two broodmares Heartsong and Pocket. Â Pocket is due any minute and is having a foal by Rosevale Leggo.
     
Heartsong is under lights and was bred to Statesmans Signature.
It was a beautiful day and our girls looked really happy!
The 2015 USDF Yearbook just came out and we would like to congratulate all the  winners,  placers,  and also those hard-working Morgan/Rider teams that are getting out there and competing in Open Rated shows…you are wonderful ambassadors for the Morgan breed!
There were  three pages with 69 placing entries in various levels of Open,  Adult Amateur, Junior Young Rider, and Vintage Cup competition.
      
Merriewold Kirin is Queen of the Reserve Championship! Â In 2013 she was Morgan Dressage Association’s Reserve Champ at First Level, Open. Â And in 2015 she was USDF All Breeds Reserve Champ at Second Level, Open! Â Thank you Alejandro!
