Congratulations to Meg Bennett and the Bartlett family on the purchase of Merriewold Kona as their new Dressage and Sport horse. We are excited that Kona has found this wonderful family and that she will remain in Santa Barbara to continue her training with Julie Corlett and Meg. Â

Earl and Kasey were super competitive  at the, “Event at Rebecca Farms”! One of the most prestigious Three Day Event Venues in the West. They ended up 4th over all in a large open class.
According to Jennifer McFall,   “It was a fabulous performance!!  He was 4th out of a big class in the “Novice Three Day”. This is different from a horse trials novice. It is “full phase” which means he has to pass 2 vet inspections, and do a full endurance day on Saturday including roads and tracks, steeple chase, and cross country.”Â

The hardest thing about leaving the ranch and going on a trip is leaving the horses.   And now that we have really nice trail horses and can go on lovely rides, I feel like I’m,  “Living my Dream”!   I owe this all to my Fabulous Four….Hero, Java, Gaysha and Honey.  So I decided to do a little photo shoot and post about them. The boys would stand and vogue all day long for me, giving me great shot after shot. The girls…not so much…hahaha…heads down, look the other way, butt to the camera, stand in the shadows…whatever.Â
I love them all! So, here they are…
