Last spring Lucky left Ray Berta and started his Dressage training with Ray’s good friend, Kat Trueblood.  Lucky is ultra sensitive and requires a special trainer…but he is also ultra talented and we are sure he is worth this extra time and training.  Lucky and Kat have formed a wonderful partnership and will be starting his show career  after the holidays.

Daisy is a 4-year-old Thoroughbred and is a surrogate for our new mare Canequin Reach for the Stars…aka…Pocket.  We feel incredibly lucky to have two foals coming for 2014 from the cross Dragonfire Kirin x Pocket. Daisy will carry one and Pocket the other.   When Daisy arrived she was a little apprehensive but soon settled in and met Pocket.  Eventually they will share a pasture.  Both are due in June.  Here are the photos of her arrival at Merriewold:
