Continuing on my catch up posting!  Merriewold Would like to congratulate Harlan Grunden and his Morgan Stallion RG Stuarts Monarch, for his 2012 Carriage Driving World Championship!

Monarch is the Sire of Merriewold Kasey, Kirin and Kona.
(WOW…Kirin is the spitting image of her daddy!)

With the 2013 Santa Barbara show right around the corner…I though I had better upload and post the photos of last years show to the show album!

Merriewold Kasey and Earl McFall earned the “Sport Horse Championship”

And Merriewold Jolie and Pam Meyer earned the “Dressage High Point Championship”

Congratulations to Amy Christensen on her purchase of  Merriewold Jolie.  Jolie is our 6 yr old black mare. (Gulfwind Sir William x Willowist Pormise To Keep)  She has been in training with Pam Meyer and has competed in Dressage at Intro and Training level and is now ready to compete at First level.

At the 2012 Morgan Medallion, Jolie was first place at Training level 2 with a score of 66, and also won the high point Dressage award.  At the 2011 Medallion, she won the Dressage suitability ‘in-hand’ class.
