It was a record-breaking year again!  With 189 photos entered from the USA, Canada, Germany, Australia and Sweden.   A special thanks to our Canadian neighbors…who sent a whooping 24 entries.  Next was Australia with 11, followed by Germany and Sweden with a hand full each.   THANK YOU  to everyone that participated!

Now it’s time for our Judge,  Susan Derr Drake to go to work and choose the winners and Honorable Mention photos.  It will be tough as there are an amazing number of beautiful, creative,  and artistic images.

The winners will be announced in The Fall Merriewold Newsletter (or email list)  on the Merriewold site, and on Face Book by early October.  Best of Luck to everyone that entered.   I think you are all winners!

Mary-Ann Maloof and trainer Cindy Ramirez Smith took Legacy to a triple rated show in Los Alamos, last weekend.  It was their first outing and we were all super happy with how well Legacy and Cindy are doing together.   Mary-Ann is looking forward to getting back to riding and competing with Legacy too.

        

Cindy and Legacy competed at First level test one and two.  Hilda Gurney was the judge.  In the first class they got a score in the high sixties and took first place.  In their second class Legacy had an insect bite issue and scored in the low sixties.
They are at another show this weekend…GOOD LUCK!
