 Here is Marika’s new colt at just four days old. He is by Dragonfire Kirin. We have not named him yet and would appreciate suggestions. It is a “J” year and here are the other names:
JS Bach, Jesse James, Josie, Jolie, and Jet Lee!

Merriewold Gaysha—one year later
   It has been a little over a year since Gaysha’s fall and as you can see she is back to her old self! She and Caduceus Marika share a pasture and have become best friends and in this photo Gaysha is racing to rejoin Marika without any concern for her old injury.Â
Moving day for Merriewold Morgans
Well, actually it took several days. We moved five horses to the new barn on Friday June 1. These five got to settle in over the weekend. Jackie and I rode in the arena for the first time on Saturday, and had our first lesson with Carol Friend at the ranch on Monday. The mares and foals and two yearlings came the following Tuesday.  Here is our move in pictures:
