Marika and Star get a new home

No…no, we didn’t sell or give away our retired Mares.  They rule the place!  And, as is fitting they now have the best pasture on the Ranch.  We just finished fixing it up for their royal highness-es…and now they are happily eating night and day….arg….and probably will gain a ton each.  Here are some photos of the day they moved.

Merriewold Diplomat and Nicolette Geddeis, World Champions!

Congratulations to Nicolette Geddeis and Merriewold Diplomat on their World Champion Title.
WORLD CHAMPION HUNTER PLEASURE, 16-17 years old

Here are some of the exciting up-dates I received from Vicki Geddeis:
Diana,
Just wanted to update you from Morgan Grand Nationals and Worlds so far.
Nicolette was the Grand National Winner in the 16 yr. old pleasure class on
Monday. She will now go onto the World competition on Friday afternoon in
the 16 & 17 year old division. She also placed 3rd in the equitation class.
We are lucky to have such a wonderful horse.  He surely is special in many ways.

Nicolette got a Blue ribbon in the Grand National Pleasure 16 year which
qualified her for the World Championship 16 – 17 yr olds… and out of 26 horses she was the
World Champion.
She is so excited and can’t be happier with “Mateo’s” performance as well as
her own. They sure have a bond like no other horse/rider combination.   A lot
of hard work and dedication on both their parts payed off.
(Mateo…Did you know that the meaning of his name in Spanish is “Gift of
God”. This couldn’t be any more fitting.)
David and Vicki Geddeis

Thank you to the Geddeis Family for giving Diplomat (Mateo) a wonderful home and a
chance to shine at Morgan Grand Nationals!
