Marika's first Merriewold foal, Java (Sire: Dragonfire Kirin) is now a very handsome yearling.  He is even better than we had hoped for!  Her three 2008 foals are all by RG Stuart's Monarch who's pedigree adds the strong Brunk and Funquest lines.

Gaysha has the distinction of being our first "Merriewold" prefix broodmare.  She is also in training with about six months under saddle.  Gaysha inherited her beauty from her World Champion sire Zimbabwe and her athletic abilites and wonderful disposition from her World Campion dam Majesty.

Majesty My Fair Lady is best known as the dam of Multi-World Champion UVM Farah.  Majesty is elegant, versatile and produces athletic and tractable foals.  We have retained Merriewold Gaysha, Majesty's foal by WH Zimbabwe, as an addition to our program.

Serena was an important broodmare for Lowell Hughes' Caduceus Morgans breeding program. She produced two top stallions for them: Caduceus Joshua and Caduceus Panache.  She later produced a foal by embryo transfer, Merriewold Hero.  It looks like he will be a top sport horse.

During the time she has been with us she has had a year of professional dressage training with Wim Foekema and a year of Western Pleasure training with Cheri Barber, both resulting in regional championship blue ribbons. She is the dam of Merriewold Elegance by Something Blue. Mo is in foal to Multi-World Champion Western Pleasure stallion, Santa Fe Renegade.

Crystal will bring athleticism and refinement to any breeding program.
